After harvesting, the rice is kept in its husk to maintain its freshness and is only cleaned and milled when needed to meet demands. Derived from Carolina Gold lineage, Charleston Gold Rice is a firm-textured, long grain, aromatic rice with a hearty texture and nutty flavor.

Whole grain with the fibroid bran and nutrition gram intact and with a unique green hue noting the presence of natural chlorophyll, the Charleston Gold Brown Rice is firmer and wholesome, with a nutty and earthy flavor.
